Psychiatric Evaluations
The importance of psychiatric evaluations cannot be overstated. They are necessary in order to ensure that individuals who may be struggling with mental health issues are getting the help they need. A psychiatric evaluation can provide a diagnosis and, if necessary, treatment recommendations. A psychiatric evaluation may include interviews with the person, family members, and friends; reviews of medical records; and psychological testing.

Our initial, comprehensive psychiatric evaluation is the start of our Mental Health Services. Our New York Nurse Practitioners follow the American Psychological and Nurse Practitioner Association standards. Our evaluation is built on extensive and holistic biographical and biopsychosocial assessments, that will be used to formulate a diagnoses, treatment plan and case conceptualization. Our providers will offer diagnostic and laboratory testing during initial evaluations, BWC currently utilizes LabCorp for all laboratory testing needs.
Our founders and providers are active in the NYC academic community providing direct education and training to undergraduate nurses and graduate level nurse practitioners. We believe in fostering the mind and growing the new professionals of nursing. Our teachings are routed in the most groundbreaking research and evidence that we offer directly to all of our clients.
All clients will be required to have an initial comprehensive evaluation.
