Initial Visit Prep
After Your Session Has Been Booked
- Within 48 hours of booking your mental health services, you will receive a link from Kareo - the BWC Client Portal as well as a welcome email containing the information found on this page.
- Intake forms must be completed at least 1 hour prior to your scheduled session.
- Your DOB is used to access our intake forms
- Please do not leave any sections blank; this helps our providers ensure we have the most accurate & up-to-date information about you.
- Please include all supplements, prescribed & OTC medications you take; be sure to include the dose & how frequently you take your meds.

- Be sure to upload your Photo ID & New York Insurance Card(s) - including prescription card if applicable.
The Day of Your Session
- Be sure you have submitted your intake forms.
- Your Telehealth/ Psychotherapist Link will be sent via email & text message 60 minutes & 60 seconds prior to your session; simply click on the link that is sent to join the session!
- Be ready 5 minutes prior to your session to test your microphone & sound output.
- Please open the Kareo Telehealth link after you have closed all other tabs & browsers to enable the best connection.
- We recommend using headphones or earbuds if possible.
- Once you join the session - update your name as prompted & knock to enter your session w/your provider.
- Please Note - You will use the same Kareo Telehealth Link each time per provider, so feel free to save it for convenience.
- Reach out to the front desk if you have any connection issues!
